Responsibilities:
- Managing existing cloud infrastructure (Install, configure, monitor and manage) by following processes and standards for optimal use of cloud services.
- Hands on with deep knowledge of Azure, working knowledge of other public and VMware private cloud.
- Migration of key application deployed in SBI Meghdoot to Microsoft Azure and/or any other public cloud.
- Collaboration on migration and discovery workshops and documentation.
- Design Public Cloud solutions across multiple technologies such as Microsoft, Linux OS and Database
- Migrate planning exercises and successful implementation, workload migration.
- Engage with application owners to migrate their applications successfully
- Manage cloud infrastructure to provide application scalability, manageability, performance and redundancy
- Documentation of solutions (e.g. architecture, configuration and setup).
- Work within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team.
- Administration of Windows Servers and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Perform Azure Site Recovery, Azure Migrate and/or Microsoft MAP Toolkit
- Handle DevOps tooling: Azure ARM, Terraform, PowerShell, DSC, Azure Automation, Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, GitHub, and Kubernetes.
- Monitor Public Cloud, manage costs and billing and optimize the same.
- Device preventive processes/automation to prevent incident
- Should bring innovation in the platform
- Should ensure that cloud eco system is being optimally utilized
- Should keep check on overprovisioning/ commitment ratios
- Should integrate with backup as a service and ensure dedupe storage
- Should ensure that key features of cloud and containerization are utilized
- Should work with existing vendor team, directly under Bank’s team and DGM
- Study each and every application architecture and recommend changes in architecture, application and cloud.
- Perform additional duties as determined by business needs and as directed by bank

Certifications Required: VMware Certifications, Professional Level Certifications of Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP
