The bank will deliver Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) to its internal departments. Hitherto the bank was following a long and circuitous manual process for virtualization requests which the new software will completely automate, thus cutting down the implementation cycle time and effort. With the new VMWare Private Cloud software in place, the bank plans to implement virtual machines within couple hours as compared to the earlier manual process that took over 2 weeks.
